Carol Baker

My life has been about journeys. A physical journey, but into the mystery and understanding of the body, mind and spirit which started at age 14 practicing yoga with my Mother. This led to macrobiotics and has never stopped as I explore the realms of alchemical chinese medicine.

Intuition has guided me right where I need to be at any given moment and trusting the process has been a profound experience in my development as a healer. The miraculous and resilient transformations of people is what keeps me curious and seeking deeper knowledge that compliments my work as an alchemical shiatsu practitioner.

At the core of my being, I am spontaneous, adventurous and have a love of travel. It offers me a way to connect with people from different cultures, backgrounds and ages. Alchemy also connects me with people in a way that is an adventure, one we are on together finding your true nature and authentic self. Committing to self cultivation and continued study of the ancient knowledge, practices and treatments of Daoism has transformed my life and how I move through and see the world.

Gaining wisdom and releasing old patterns and emotional triggers, as I continue to understand myself in a richer, more profound way is something I want to share and co-create with my clients and those seekers, like myself, who are excited to peel the layers back to their best and already perfect selves.

Shiatsu is an extension of my belief in holistic healing.
